The top rated horse in this set is ANGEL FIRE rated at 71, whereas GLITTERATO is rated at 50. In race no. 157(Mysore), both had competed and as per my time sheet, the closing speed of GLITTERATO is far superior by 2.01 seconds but theoretically it would appear that ANGEL FIRE had beaten GLITTERATO. The 2.01 secs development in speed would roughly mean 12 lengths in racing standards.
The first qualification is that the horse had proved his mettle over the top rated in this set.
The added qualification would be his splendid form in a Mock race on 4th Dec where he was never stretched to put in an impressive performance on a tight hold while finishing along with ENDURING STAR.
So I hope this clarifies your doubt.
