The trainer stated that:-a) Today’s run is in higher class. b) Today’s distance is very much short and requires extra distance.His explanation was noted and his attention was drawn to the Rules regarding “in and out running". Jockey Harkesh Kumar the rider of POMMERY was fined Rs.2000/- for coming onto the rails before passing the red marker thereby inconveniencingVARUN (Shadab Khan) on his inside which had to be checked by its rider. He was further severely reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the winning post.

3. MOON STAR Raced with respiratory infection, yet finished on to be a good 3rd to BLACK JACK.
2. CAMACHO The manner in which he walloped OCEAN YARMANN was very impressive.

2. TOP ACTION Raced prominently over 7 furlongs in STAR TRAINER’s race to end up 3rd in upper class. Today running on demotion with a top jockey in the saddle.
4. ARABIAN EMPIRE Finished on gamely in both his last two runs. Will find it difficult to topple the former.
