Trainer Mr.H A Khan was questioned regarding the apparent poor performance of REAL SCOTCH ridden by Jockey Kaushal Kumar as compared to its last run in race No.34 where it had run 2nd. The trainer stated that:-a) Today’s run is in higher class. b) Today’s distance is very much short and requires extra distance.His explanation was noted and his attention was drawn to the Rules regarding “in and out running". 1    LittleMaster    7g (56) 3rd till 600, 6th till 100m, improved gradually. Was severely reprimanded for traveling very wide throughout the race for no apparent reason.
10    Varun    6g (49)7th till 400, covered ground to finish 4th. Jockey Harkesh Kumar the rider of POMMERY was fined Rs.2000/- for coming onto the rails before passing the red marker thereby inconveniencingVARUN (Shadab Khan) on his inside which had to be checked by its rider. He was further severely reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the winning post.
11    JohnnyBravo    6g (44) An enquiry is being opened into the circumstance into which JOHNNY BRAVO was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Very well prepared.
