The TORTOISE and the HARE.

Viewers have expressed their doubts in the second race comparing Track Thunder & River Dragon in Race no.229 where the finish time of the latter is better than the former. Their argument is how can a horse finishing 6th show a better finish time than a horse finishing 2nd.More so they had asked me to re-look into the calculation of the time.

I wish to clarify the confusion created in the minds of viewers as detailed below.

Once upon a time a tortoise and a hare had an argument about who was faster.

They decided to settle the argument with a race. They agreed on a route and started off the race. The hare shot ahead and ran briskly for some time. Then seeing that he was far ahead of the tortoise, he thought he'd sit under a tree for some time and relax before continuing the race. He sat under the tree and soon fell asleep. The tortoise plodding on overtook him and soon finished the race, emerging as the undisputed champ.
The hare finally woke from his nap. "Time to get going," he thought. And off he went faster than he had ever ran before! He dashed as quickly as anyone ever could up to the finish line, where he met the tortoise, who was patiently awaiting his arrival.

Everyone knows that the hare's finish time is far superior than the tortoise, but yet finished second.Viewers will come across such type of races and should not be confused. My timings are CORRECT.

D'ARTAGNAN & FLEET INDIAN to battle it out.

D'artagnan and Fleet Indian will clash for the top slot in the Golconda 2000 Guineas.Both had met over this mile in GYPSY MAGIC's Bangalore Summer Million.The interference caused by CRUISING to D'artagnan in the closing stages of the race and the advantage of 5kgs over Fleet Indian should be beneficial to his chances of conquering the winner of Mysore Derby.
Ownermate ARABIAN PRINCE will set the pace for Shroff's ANGELO, who both lack the class to tackle the graded performers.
The worry-some factor is that, over a mile, D'artagnan is slowing down in the closing stages whereas Fleet Indian is speeding up in the closing stages.The 5kgs conflict will set the clash in motion.
