7. WORLD IS TOOMUCH An impressive 2nd to Live It Up in his last effort. If Live It Up is favoured to win the 5th race in higher company, why can't this half brother to Immense (2nd to Sun Kingdom in the Colts trial) win this race?

1. MYSTIC ENCHANTRESS M/S Wadiyar's are lucky enough to have this filly racing in the bottom most class. Good numbers over a route.  But Mile?
2. ASPIRING SEVEN A fine performer of his last start. Running over a mile with 6.5 kgs penalty.

10. LIVE IT UP Running over a mile with plate change. Entrusted to Ladjadj Stephane at a feather weight. Handicap chance.
6. BOSTON RANGER A failed favourite in his last effort. Ignore this run. Could have done much better.
9. WAR HEAD A failed favourite in his last run causing an enquiry into the running and riding. Can this aged gelding wage war with heads above?

5. DEL GRATIA Conqueror of Miss Ruby who won by a distance last week.
4. CLASSIC CONCEPT Had won the race in a superior time than Miss Ruby on the same day. Far superior to the upper class Feel My Heart (same day). Cannot be ignored.

Becket’s post-mortem

Now the expert professionals say that Becket should have run like this and not like that. Even Mallaya’s first Jockey Sampson had opted to ride Spearhead ignoring Arabian Prince and none of the reporters or the connections had advised him or had corrected him to choose the right one. After Prince winning the Maharaja, some of the write-up had gone up to the extent of Prince’s running in Hyderabad.
    This is not the first time these things happen. It will happen again and again giving rise to speculations. Silent BEFORE, loud mouthed AFTER has become a habit of many in horse racing.

Frivolous objection by C(heat) Alford.

Christopher Alford after losing on 3 Don Diego in the 2nd race claims that he was bumped 5 times by the winner 7 Scionic(Amyn Merchant) at 250 metres and after 200 metres.
The fact is C.Alford who was hugging the rails all along the straight shifted outwards on to Scionic, thereby causing the bump, but objects that he was bumped 5 times. Did anybody see bumping 5 times?
C.Alford on more than one occasion had caused trouble in Bangalore causing commotion in the Bangalore race course. A champion Kolkatta jockey creating nuisance in Bangalore.
